Since 1988 Birth & Bonding has specialized in providing personal
attention and knowledgeable support for birthing families throughout pregnancy,
birthing and postpartum needs. All staff and instructors are mothers professionaly
trained as birth support practitioners and will provide supportive and
practical information. From the classes we teach, to the support groups

Did you know that...
“A number of states have also begun to enact legislation in
order to protect the rights of mothers, including Connecticut,
Illinois, California, Washington and Puerto Rico.
For example, California’s law on breasfeeding rights requries
that an employer:
"Provide a reasonable amount of break time for an employee
to express breast milk for an infant. The break time can run
concurrently with any regularly scheduled break times.
• Make a reasonable effort to provide the employee with the
use of a room or other location, in close proximity to the employee’s
work area, for the purpose of expressing breast milk in private.
This location can not be a toilet stall, but it may be the employee’s
normal work area if it is a private location.
